What is QRB-7? (Extract of Oak Bark)

Minumum Inhibitory Concetration Testing of QRB-7

Purpose: The purpose of this study completed by Hilltop Biolabs was to determine the minimal growth inhibiting concentrations (MIC) or QRB-7 against a broad spectrum of microorganisms (selected bacteria and fungal specimens)

Summary: None of the 49 microbial strains tested were resistant to the topical antimicrobial. The QRB-7 solution exhibited a wide range of antimicrobial activity against both Gram positive and Gram negative organisms, inhibiting the growth of 42 out of 49 microbial strains tested at concentrations ranging from 1563 ppm to 12,500 ppm. The 7 remaining strains were all inhibited by a concentration of 50,000 ppm and are denoted in the following table with an (*) preceding their name.
