Cryotherapy System |
|
Like all of our products this gel pack system is designed using our washable, reusable, Velcro® compatible materials. The system includes a puch for the gel pack, two removable straps with removable Velcro® fasteners and two Ezy Wrap ® hot/cold packs. These gel packs remain flexible even when frozen. The inner mesh surface allows thermal transfer while protecting the skin from excessive heat or freezing and the outer material reduces loss to the surrounding air.
Instructions for use:
Microwave or freeze the gel pack accordingto the label instructions and insert in the pouch as shown (fig.1). Position the pouchagainst leg where desired with the blue side out (Fig.2). Here the pouch is being used parallel to the leg so apply the bottom strap and wrap as shown in (Fig.3). Attach the strap with Velcro® (Fig.4). Application of first strap completed as shown (Fig.5). Apply the upper strap (Fig.6 & 7). Securely fasten as in (Fig.8). The completed gel pack application (Fig.9). NOTE. The Velcro® fastener is removable at one end of the straps to allow the strap to be cut to any length as needed and securely fastened. |

In some situations you may want to apply the CRYOTHERAPY SYSTEM perpendicular to the leg in which case the 2 straps will be attached side by side at teh narrow end of the pouch (Fig.10). Place the pouch in the desired location (Fig.11). Wrap the upper strap around the leg first and fasten as shown (Fig.12). Wrap the lower strap and attach (Fig.13 & 14). The completed application is shown in (Fig.15). If needed the two straps can be joined end to end to wrap a larger area. A bandage is useful to apply at a location such as the neck to hot pack an anscess or jugular inflammation. NOTE. If the inner pouch is wet prior to use the surface will feel colder when used for cold therapy. |
